Dr. Chagit Brand

Dr. Chagit Brand is a patent attorney who is licensed to practice before the Israel Patent Office. Prior to working with Beider IP, Chagit held positions in leading Israeli IP firms where she prepared and prosecuted patents for a large range of clients, from hospitals and universities, to start-up companies to individual inventors.  Chagit specializes in the fields of medical devices, life sciences, diagnostics, medical imaging, and mechanical devices.  Chagit has extensive experience in patent drafting and complex worldwide patent prosecution, as well as extensive experience in management and strategic planning of IP portfolios. In addition, Chagit performs patentability and freedom to operate searches and analyses, preparation of opinion letters and due diligence.  Originally trained as a molecular and cell biologist, Chagit holds a Ph.D. in Biology and a M.Sc. in Biotechnology, both from Bar-Ilan University.
